Personally, I think the nicest part of Las Vegas to live in is near Mt. Charleston, which is the Northwest and Southwest parts of Las Vegas. This is because of the temperatures. The sun sets in the west, shading the western side of the valley far earlier than the south, north, and east. Mt. Charleston rarely hits 80 degrees, which means cool breezes flow down the mountain straight onto Providence, Centennial, and Summerlin.
