We have many clients who have retired there and have never heard anything negative about the community. There is a busy schedule of planned activities and group events.
🏗️ What Is The History Of Los Prados?
US Homes built the development in the late 1990s with the concept of families being together when they relocate to Las Vegas. It worked well. We sold two homes to several families, one in each community. There are two guard-gated entrances, and the north side entrance has some homes on much larger lots.

Our advice about Los Prados Las Vegas homes for sale is to look at the houses for golf ball divots on the exterior stucco and for cracked windows. Keep in mind that homes are 30 years old and need remodeling, but probably had the HVAC replaced 10 years ago. When some homes were new, grass went to the exterior walls, and sprinklers hit the stucco. Look closely at any home built before 2000.

Los Prados is known for affordability and being guard-gated. There are some larger Los Prados homes with larger yards and many golf course homes. RV parking is onsite for residents, and people really like that.

Construction started on Sun City Summerlin homes in the late 1980s and went on for almost 30 years, eventually building 8800 homes in separate sections. There are three golf courses and 4 community centers. A shopping area is inside the neighborhood. Sun City Summerlin is considered affordable; most homes are remodeled, and you can drive a golf cart to the grocery store.
⛳️ What Is The Most Exclusive Golf Club In Las Vegas?
That’s a tough question. MGM owns a golf course in the north part of town. It is invitation-only to high rollers. That is pretty exclusive and probably expensive. Otherwise, Dragon Ridge in MacDonald Highlands in Henderson is considered the best golf course in Las Vegas. The bonus is stunning houses and the expansive city and mountain views.
