The most expensive golf club in Las Vegas is probably Shadow Ridge in North Laas Vegas. There are no homes around it, and it is owned by MGM Properties, and is exclusively used as an “invitation only” experience. Considering the time and dollars MGM requires to invite their guests, I’m choosing Shadow Ridge. The second most expensive golf course is possibly Dragon Ridge in MacDonald Highlands. With 50 courses in the area, Dragon Ridge has the reputation among locals for being the best. Then again, maybe it’s the Summit Club’s course since the only way to play is with a membership.

The property taxes are consistent in all of Henderson. The equate to below 1%. In 2012-2013 the valley was reassessed and a 3% cap was placed for owner-occupied properties and 6% for second homes and investment properties. Some older homes can have ½ the property taxes and may be worth considering.
