The 14.5 acres of land were owned by Peccole Nevada Corp., and Taurus Development planned a project, but in 2004, plans changed.
In a joint venture, One Queensridge Place was developed by Peccole Nevada (developed Peccole Ranch) and Executive Home Builders (EHB). Before completion, IDB Development Corp. became an investor partner.
The first 20-story tower was completed in 2007. Sales were slow during the financial recession until 2010. The main owner of Peccole Nevada is Johan Louie, who also developed Tivoli Village across the street. Johan Louie was also the person responsible for selling the Badlands Golf Course, located west of One Queensridge Place, to Lennar Homes. That was after a locally famous lawsuit with the City of Las Vegas, and it was eventually settled for over $250 million.
