Builder Tip #1 – Did you know?

Richmond American Homes Las Vegas will provide you with buyer representation with no change to the home’s price. This is also true with most new construction builders in Southern Nevada. So, basically, you are paying for this benefit whether you want to or not. You should get someone who knows construction to be on your team.

You have a choice if you want a tour guide to only find you a house or if you want a Realtor who can protect you the entire time your house is under construction. Interview. Of course, there’s the builder’s fine print that you must adhere to to receive this benefit.

You must take your Realtor with you on your first visit to their model homes. So, choose your Realtor first and make sure they are a construction pro. A former building engineer, contractor, inspector, or architect who’s also a Realtor can be incredibly helpful. The typical chatty and friendly Realtor won’t and can’t practice outside their area of expertise.

Construction professionals must legally share their knowledge which helps to protect your interest. Embracing that law, as a former Nevada building engineer (a PE, CE), I provide weekly construction monitoring to clients as part of my services.

Get Why a New Construction Realtor?

As new construction home specialists, you want us on your team, and the builder pays us. With how quickly houses are built in the Las Vegas area, my knowledge and services are invaluable.

We send videos and pictures of what changes have occurred throughout the week and discuss construction with you. I’ll talk to the construction superintendent for you or with you when needed. I tell you like it is, not just what the builder wants you to know.

If you choose us as your Realtors, we often show resale homes for you to compare locations and costs. At a resale home, we point out possible red flag issues that we see. Our goal is to protect you with our skills, knowledge, and experience.

If you’d like to investigate any builder further, let us know. Read our “About Us” page and/or “7 Reasons To Use A New Construction Realtor” before you look at homes. Schedule a housing consultation with us today at 702-750-7599.
