Vdara High Rise Condominiums
Association Fee 1: $640-759/M
Vdara is a combined hotel and condominium within the City Center complex. Begun during the boom years of the early 2000s, it was the first building completed within City Center. It was during the middle of construction and sales that the economy crashed.
As a result of the recession and price drops, numerous lawsuits went on for years. MGM retained ownership of the majority of Vdara units. Of the 1495 residential units, approximately 150 are privately owned. A division of MGM owns the rest. Consequently, there are not very many units for sale at any given time.
In these buildings, they provide renters, charging premium rents for special occasions. Management will handle everything from admittance to check-out, accounting, and housekeeping. Of course, on-site management retains a percentage of the fees charged from every rental facilitated.
The first thing to decide is if you want to own part of the Las Vegas Strip. The second thing is to determine if you want to live in the building, stay sometimes, or do you want to rent the unit out when you are not in residence. This makes a difference as to which buildings to consider.

City Center is a project that started in 2004-2005, which took almost 2 years for a team of architects to design. Construction broke ground in 2007 with completion dates of 2009 and 2010. Their architectural representatives researched worldwide for the best way to make energy-efficient high rise towers. They successfully combined that knowledge with stunning architectural designs to create an amazing planet-friendly development.
Costing over 8 Billion dollars and owned by MGM Corporation, it became the largest privately funded construction project in United States history. The U.S. Green Building Council awarded every building within the development the LEED Gold Standard Award. It is also known to be the largest sustainable energy project ever built.
Included within City Center is Aria Hotel and Casino, Veer, Vdara, and Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Condominium Tower. The up-scale and elegant Aria Hotel and Casino feature over 4000 hotel rooms with 568 suites, a convention center, 25 restaurants, bars, and lounges. Jewel, a 24,000 square foot nightclub with celebrity D.J’s, private VIP tables, and talented dancers, opens at 10 PM nightly, adding to Arias nighttime excitement.
Crystals- The Mall at City Center
Crystals is an elegant high-end mall sharing the circular entrance with Aria. It has exclusive shops and fun throughout topped off with a fabulous art collection of world-renowned masterpieces. Every time I go there, I am completely mesmerized by the creativity, decor, and presentation of every store and feature within the mall. Displays are as unique as the merchandise presented for sale. The public areas have fun, as well as contemporary decor features. Two 4 1/2 star restaurants anchor this lovely shopping experience.
