Zip Code 89107 is located north of Charleston and south of Washington. It is east of Rainbow and Buffalo, west of Valley View. Since 89107 it is located near Downtown Las Vegas, most properties in this area are still older. Older- meaning that most were built after 1960.

I like to refer to zip code 89107 as a rebel zip code. Very few houses in this area are part of a Homeowners Association. I love that there are some older neighborhoods with original owners where the pride of ownership is very apparent.

There are gated communities off Rancho that are old-style elite residences. Mature landscaping and timeless modern facades make the area beautiful. Along Alta, there are fully gated private estates.

Zip Code 89107 is where the best medical care in Las Vegas is offered. It is home to the Children’s Hospital and to UMC Trauma Care. We are proud of our first responders in Las Vegas for the October 3 shooting response and for stepping up during Covid – Thank you.

The Meadows Mall and the Springs Preserve are in this area. This is where many furniture stores call home and the Southern Nevada Water Authority. The Southern Nevada Water Authority has walking trails displaying varieties of desert plants, and they occasionally have classes about landscaping and plant life. There are many restaurants and a variety of retail stores.
